Post your all-time favorite fantasy matchups here.
Whether it be because you think it's a good stylistic mesh, or maybe just an all-action war, perhaps a match that's so even you can't decide...
Post 'em here!

I'll start:
Armstrong vs Pryor @ Lightweight-
Both nonstop, high-volume, hard punching maniacs who possess underrated skills.
Pryor can easily make 135 and only fought at 140 for lack of fights one division lower. Armstrong was at his best (arguably) at around 135. Even fighting welters he was only in the lightweight range...
It's a truly pick 'em for me, but I have to go with the legend if I was pressed to make a decision.
I doubt anyone goes down, and Armstrong squeaks out a split decision in a barnburner.
Armstrong W15

How do you think Julian Jackson vs. James Toney would go?

Jackson never lost a decision. All his losses were by stoppage.
Toney is cute enough and slick enough to not get caught with that bomb, but he'd have to be careful.
This is a situation where Toney would have to be completely focused and have to be on his game every second of the fight...
Jackson could lose every second of the fight, but all he needs is one perfect second and he wins.
Toney could be inconsistent and unfocused, and I could see Toney eventually wearing Jackson down and stopping him late, but I don't know.
Another pick 'em for me...
Gun to my head decision: Toney too slick and just too technically sound.
Toney W15

Henry Armstrong vs. Manny Pacquiao?

Henry Armstrong vs. Manny Pacquiao? I want to hear feedback from you... What's your assessment of these fights? This aint dear Abby... Anyway, this is another pick 'em fight for me, as both have similar qualities... Pac is faster. Hank has more volume. I'll take this one at 135 lbs, as that's the best common ground for both. I have trouble envisioning Pac being able to keep up with Armstrong coming into the championship rounds, but what the hell do I know? I could go either way, honestly, but lean towards Hank. Gotta give it to the guy proven over top opposition and scoring knockouts along the way. He did get beat up twice by Zivic, but he was a monster...

I would have to go with Henry Armstrong too just because of his work-rate. Manny has phenomenal stamina but he has pauses in action at points that some of his opponents don't capitalize on. Henry Armstrong was extremely active with his punches and he was and excellent body puncher so he would break Manny down. In a 15 round fight he stops Manny in the 11th.

Duran vs JCC @ lightweight
How do you see it?
Both have relentless pressure, but JCC possesses the better chin, but Duran has slightly bettter power, but not by much- that might be splitting hairs... Duran's definitely the faster of the two and also has better versatility.
Definitely a war; I see Duran coming out ahead based on better mobility, versatility, and speed.
Duran W15

Who do you favor over Chavez at lightweight?

Who do you favor over Chavez at lightweight? It's kind of a hard choice but Duran seem more heavy handed. Duran might take it at lightweight. His shots seemed a little more accurate at the lighter weight.

Here's another close one: DelaHoya vs Curry @ welterweight...
A technical boxing match and a purists' dream...
Both sharp punchers with speed, both box from behind the jab. Both have been dropped.
Curry is the sharper puncher and also has one-punch KO power whereas DLH is more of a doubles/triples hitter... Curry definitely has the advantage in speed as well.
Oscar showed he had trouble with speed (Mosley) and power (Quartey really had him intimidated)...
I could go Oscar by decision or stoppage and I can see either outcome in Curry's favor as well... Ask me tomorrow and I could say something different, but today, Curry's ability to one-up Oscar in about every area earns him a close split decision victory with knockdowns for both men along the way...
Curry W15

His shots seemed a little more accurate at the lighter weight. Duran was definitely the sharper puncher, and had more fight-changing power, but Chavez isn't far behind... Chavez seems more of a heavy, hurtful puncher whose power catches up to you later, and all of a sudden, people start looking and feeling like they've been trampled by a stampede of horses... This is a good look at what makes boxing so intricate and so subjective... both are skilled technicians, both have serious power, both of them pressure fighters, but in all of those areas, they're still different in ways...
